Cultural tourism: stakeholder management and the complexity of balance

The balance of sustainable development is possible provided that the stakeholders concerned work together. In 1999 began developing normative planning model based in coordinating the interests of stakeholders in tourism. This tool would balance the interests of the parties involved and their servic- es. This involves implementing market segmentation strategies, as suggested by experts in tourism mar- keting Elise Truly Sautter Birgit Leiser.
