El perfil de las personas que visitan una ciudad de segundo nivel como León (España) y su relación con la satisfacción turística

Este estudo analisa a relação entre motivações e satisfação turística em cidades de segundo nível, tomando Leão (Espanha) como caso de estudo. Com base em 384 inquéritos por questionário e análises quantitativas, foram identificadas cinco tipologias motivacionais: utilitárias, culturais, laborais, de passagem e ocasionais. Embora os fatores sociodemográficos (idade, género, rendimento) influenciem algumas motivações, não determinam diretamente a satisfação. Esta depende sobretudo do tipo motivacional: as motivações utilitárias e ocasionais correlacionam-se positivamente com a satisfação, enquanto as laborais e de passagem apresentam um impacto negativo. As motivações culturais, apesar de predominantes, revelam um efeito direto fraco sobre a satisfação. Conclui-se que a competitividade dos destinos de segundo nível exige estratégias assentes na segmentação motivacional, com prioridade para a adequação da oferta às motivações-chave e para a melhoria da experiência dos visitantes funcionais. Destaca-se ainda o papel mediador da qualidade do serviço na configuração da satisfação turística.
