Abstract

The Fonoteca del Mar is a scientific event that is integrated within the NODOS:ON project, which enjoys the financial support of the Government of the Canary Islands through its program SEPTENIO1 . Under the formula of "acoustic persuasion"was held on 17 and 18 December 2011 at the Hotel Sandos - San Blas Reserva Ambiental, in San Miguel de Abona (Tenerife). Its organizers have been the Fundación Empresa Universidad de La Laguna and the Taller de Acciones Creativa Research Group of the same university. The event was attended by leading figures in the field of sound research and cultural heritage, such as Josep Cerdá i Ferré, José Manuel Berenguer, José Igés, Xabier Erki- zia, Llorenç Prats and Agustín Santana Talavera.
