Variables predictoras de la intención de hospedarse en eco-hoteles

Aunque la demanda de servicios turísticos proambientales ha aumentado, es difícil predecir el comportamiento de compra de reservas en hoteles ecológicos. En profesionistas millennials mexicanos que les gusta viajar, se analizó la influencia de la actitud, el control conductual percibido y las normas subjetivas sobre la intención a alojarse en eco-hoteles, y se valoró la importancia-desempeño de cada variable predictora sobre la variable resultado. Se desarrolló una investigación cuantitativa, explicativa y transversal y un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia en 385 personas. La informacion se analizó con un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales PLS y con una matriz de importancia-desempeño. Los resultados mostraron que las tres variables influyen positivamente sobre la intención a alojarse en eco-hoteles, destacando el efecto de las normas subjetivas, particularmente en la creencia del sujeto de que sus referentes sociales, cuya opinión valora y son importantes, se alojarán en eco-hoteles cuando viajen.
