Instagram: inspiração, reconhecimento social e motivação na escolha de um destino turístico

Resumo

Instagram é uma rede social baseada na imagem que contém uma grande quantidade de informação sobre viagens e turismo. Além disso, permite que os destinos sejam explorados através de conteúdos publicados pela família, amigos e conhecidos, por empresas de turismo, ou por personalidades populares tais como bloggers de viagens ou influenciadores. Este estudo visa analisar as publicações de um grupo de influentes sobre a Instagram e a sua possível relação com a inspiração, reconhecimento social e motivação na escolha dos destinos turísticos dos seus seguidores. Foi efectuada uma análise qualitativa de vários postos de trabalho de influenciadores de viagens através da identificação de conteúdos manifestos e latentes relacionados com o objectivo da investigação. Os resultados mostram que os seguidores expressam o seu reconhecimento social dos influenciadores através de mensagens de apoio e "gostos", identificam-se com as actividades que realizam e exprimem a sua motivação para fazer as mesmas viagens.
