Mala imagen y estrategias de selección y adaptación para la diversificación turística: el caso de las casas de huéspedes o Gasthof del Altmühlsee (Alemania)

Resumen

El artículo analiza las estrategias de selección y adaptación que conllevan a una diversificación turística por parte de las casas de huéspedes o Gasthof en la región del lago del Altmühlsee (Alemania), una región con una importante actividad turística que se ha visto amenazada resultado de la mala imagen generada por la prensa como consecuencia de la abundante presencia de algas tóxicas en sus lagos. Para lograrlo, se retoman elementos teóricos de la Geografía Económica Evolutiva (GEE) en un enfoque Darwinista, con el fin de entender los mecanismos que han permitido la emergencia de diversas estrategias de diversificación turística por parte de las casas de huéspedes (Gasthof) de la región que les permiten adaptar su oferta a pesar de las circunstancias.
