Análise do comportamento do turista de negócios em Barcelona

Resumo: Este artigo analisa o comportamento do turista de negócios na cidade de Barcelona. Estudam-se os efeitos da duração da estadia na relação de motivação, satisfação, imagem, repetibilidade e recomendação. O modelo teórico proposto baseia-se na literatura, levanta nove hipóteses de trabalho e fornece conhecimentos sobre os efeitos da duração da estadia no destino. A metodologia utilizada é a modelagem da equação estrutural e a utilização da análise multigrupo. A amostra utilizada é de 2976 turistas de negócios que permanecem em Barcelona. Os resultados sugerem que os turistas profissionais, de curta e longa estadia, se comportam de forma diferente, e a maioria das hipóteses são suportadas com diferentes graus de apoio. Eles também permitem propor implicações e sugestões no campo das políticas de turismo, estratégias de gestão e pesquisas futuras.
