Dimensões determinantes dos alojamentos turísticos para segmentar o impacto turístico regional em Espanha

O importante crescimento do setor turístico na última década provocou o surgimento de novos tipos de alojamentos. Por isso, propõe-se o objetivo de determinar as dimensões que caracterizam o setor do alojamento turístico espanhol, analisando o seu impacto à escala regional.
A metodologia utilizada aplica técnicas de Análise Multivariada. São identificadas cinco dimensões determinantes do alojamento turístico, destacando-se especialmente os aspetos relacionados com o mercado de trabalho, com a oferta e a procura do setor e com a eficácia turística. É evidente um impacto positivo, embora desigual, nas economias regionais, sendo a localização e a modalidade turística preferida fatores determinantes do sucesso. O turismo de férias «sol e praia», predominante nas regiões mediterrânicas e nos arquipélagos espanhóis, prefere alojamentos tradicionais, como hotéis ou apartamentos turísticos, enquanto outras modalidades turísticas optam por formas alternativas de alojamento, como parques de campismo ou albergues.
