Variáveis preditivas da intenção de se hospedar em hotéis ecológicos

Resumo

Embora a procura por serviços turísticos pró-ambientais tenha aumentado, é difícil prever o comportamento de compra de reservas em hotéis ecológicos. Em profissionais millennials mexicanos que gostam de viajar, analisou-se a influência da atitude, do controlo comportamental percebido e das normas subjetivas sobre a intenção de se hospedar em hotéis ecológicos, e avaliou-se a importância-desempenho de cada variável preditiva sobre a variável resultado. Foi desenvolvida uma investigação quantitativa, explicativa e transversal e uma amostragem não probabilística por conveniência em 385 pessoas. As informações foram analisadas com um modelo de equações estruturais PLS e com uma matriz de importância-desempenho. Os resultados mostraram que as três variáveis influenciam positivamente a intenção de se hospedar em hotéis ecológicos, destacando o efeito das normas subjetivas, particularmente na crença do sujeito de que seus referências sociais, cuja opinião ele valoriza e considera importante, se hospedarão em hotéis ecológicos quando viajarem.
