Inovação e empreendedorismo no turismo: O caso de um dinamarquês

A indústria do turismo inclui muitas pequenas e médias empresas (PME). Além disso, mais, a indústria do turismo é muitas vezes dito ser menos inovador do que outras indústrias e SMTEs’ falta de motivação, conhecimento e recursos são frequentemente alegados como sendo as razões pelas quais a indústria não é muito inovador. Ao mesmo tempo, porém, faltam dados ricos e densos sobre as PME e a inovação. A fim de contribuir para colmatar esta lacuna de conhecimentos, este documento baseia-se num caso de empresa (uma caravana dinamarquesa) que tem sido inovadora. O estudo revela uma série de razões pelas quais esta empresa específica tem sido inovadora e, além disso, o artigo sugere como essas conclusões podem transcender a empresa caso.
