Algumas reflexões sobre a celebração do Ano Europeu do Património Cultural de 2018

Resumo

O presente artigo descreve os eventos que marcam o Ano Europeu do Património Cultural 2018, analisando aspectos como a escolha de locais para representar a Europa tal como escolhidos pela UE e os vários eventos realizados nos principais países europeus com forte presença no domínio do Património Cultural. Do mesmo modo, oferece alguns exemplos de sítios emblemáticos de significado social e político que não foram muito considerados no contexto das celebrações do património, juntamente com a escassa presença da arqueologia no programa global.
