Abstract

Conducting a study on Tourism and Hospitality in Douro Tourist Accommodation was a work that several researchers from CETRAD - Center for Transdisciplinary Studies for Development, from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) carried out. To this end, the DOUROTUR project - Tourism and Technological Innovation in the Douro was created to address the theme of tourism development in the Douro. Composed by a multidisciplinary team, the DOUROTUR project launched in August 2020 a report resulting from an in-depth work over three and a half years of research and analysis on Tourism and Hospitality in Douro Tourist Accommodation. The work is divided into eleven chapters, during which research and solutions for the tourist accommodation sector in this region were researched and proposed.
