Abstract

For a number of years we have been witnessing a proliferation of activities and the implementation of patriotic and museum projects throughout the Basque Autonomous Community. It could be said that in every municipality, be it large, medium or small, there is a desire to dis- place a museum or some patrimonial infrastructure, at least. One logic, if not the only one, which is in many cases directing these infrastructures is as follows: to create, activate or to put in value those patrimonial infrastructures in order to attract the tourism and therefore unpunished The European Commission will continue its efforts to promote local social and economic development.
