The Spanish Association of Tourism Scientists (AECIT) is proud to note that there has been a marked improvement in the average quality of communications received and submitted for evaluation for their defence at the Convention stonework. Beyond looking for solutions to the current economic crisis, we face the challenge of remaining a leading country in tourism and that requires reflection and change and is fundamental to this The European Commission has launched a European Research Area (ERA). AECIT wishes to be proactive in this direction and to take on a commitment with its partners, with the universities, enterprises and research centres in which they carry out their professional activities with the whole tourism sector and with society.
