Significados latentes en la fotografía turística: el caso del turismo negro Costa Morte (Galicia)

Resumen

¿Hasta qué punto una fotografía puede ser una representación de la identidad de un lugar, difundir emociones, simular / emular experiencias y motivar la visita al destino? Este estudio pretende explorar la fascinación (la mirada), la influencia de la interpretación del paisaje, la percepción de la autenticidad, la densidad psicológica asociada a las imágenes del turismo negro? ¿Qué elementos y símbolos son posibles de forma explícita o latente? ¿Cuál es el papel del turista en la co-creación de la imagen del destino? Este estudio tiene como punto de partida y unidad de análisis el patrimonio inmaterial y el "aura" que emana de varios lugares y paisajes de la Costa da Morte (Costa de la Muerte) en Galicia aderezada por las leyendas y la mitología de un pasado histórico rico en acontecimientos. Mediante un enfoque metodológico que incluía la selección cualitativa y el análisis de fotografías, documentales y libros, la observación directa, la netnografía pasiva y la foto-elaboración, se propusieron varios elementos de contenido latente o categorías de clasificación.
