Evolução dos Efeitos da Educação e da Temporalidade sobre a Produtividade do Trabalho na Hotelaria Mediterrânea

Este trabalho analisa a evolução da produtividade do trabalho no setor hoteleiro, prestando especial atenção ao papel da educação e da temporalidade como fatores determinantes. O estudo centra-se nos países mediterrâneos da União Europeia com maior especialização turística e compara os principais indicadores do setor hoteleiro com os do conjunto das atividades económicas. Através de uma análise descritiva e de técnicas de escalonamento multidimensional, confirma-se que um maior nível educativo da população empregada impulsiona a produtividade do trabalho, enquanto uma elevada taxa de temporalidade a afeta negativamente. Os resultados evidenciam a necessidade de implementar estratégias que promovam a formação contínua e a estabilidade laboral para melhorar a competitividade do setor.
