The review discusses the book *Tourism and Urban Sustainability in the City of Seville: Assessments, Stakeholders and Practices*. Tirant Humanidades, edited by Francisco Javier Escalera Reyes and Macarena Hernández Ramírez. The book examines the effects of tourism on the city of Seville from the perspective of urban socio-ecosystems and socio-ecological resilience, offering a methodological approach to studying tourism through the lens of anthropology, as well as an interesting insight into the effects of urban tourism from a holistic perspective of the city.
