Los territorios del turismo: una reflexión sobre la experiencia de los Distritos Turísticos (Sistemas Locales de Turismo) en Sicilia

Resumo

O distrito turístico é um instrumento importante para a governança territorial do turismo regional. O distrito é um tipo de sistema local que se caracteriza pela sua multidimensionalidade, bem como pela contiguidade espacial dos operadores que a ele pertencem. O território é um espaço transformado por interações sociais e relações de produção: é, portanto, a referência indispensável para medir o impacto do turismo. Uma abordagem ascendente no processo de identificação dos distritos é, portanto, vital. É desejável gerir este processo correctamente, no que se chama uma abordagem "card-approach". Este estudo é uma análise preliminar derivada da experiência directa dos distritos turísticos recentemente formados na Sicília.
