Um estudo longitudinal das percepções dos moradores’ de impactos de turismo usando dados da costa do sol Austrália

Este estudo investiga se houve uma mudança nas percepções dos moradores sobre a vida e os impactos do turismo, na Sunshine Coast, em 2009, a partir de suas percepções de 2008. Em 2009, mais entrevistados relataram que o estilo de vida e o ritmo geral da vida eram as principais atrações de viver na Sunshine Coast. Os resultados também demonstram um aumento significativo na percepção dos moradores’ que o turismo é susceptível de ter um impacto positivo sobre a identidade cultural da comunidade. O estudo constatou ainda que, entre 2008 e 2009, houve uma diminuição significativa dos residentes’ diz respeito ao congestionamento do tráfego Garding; ruído e poluição; taxas de criminalidade; destruição do ambiente natural; e praias desagradavelmente superlotadas, e caminhos para caminhadas no mato, parques e instalações ao ar livre na comunidade. A pesquisa, entretanto, não revela nenhuma diferença significativa nas percepções dos residentes do’ da conservação dos recursos naturais; criação do emprego; e a possibilidade de ter mais cul- intercâmbio natural entre turistas e residentes devido ao turismo. Globalmente, estas conclusões são favoráveis para as partes interessadas relacionadas com o turismo no desenvolvimento de futuros planos turísticos para a região, em que os moradores parecem estar mais dispostos a apoiar o desenvolvimento do turismo.Downloads
