The purpose of this paper is to analyse and to examine the studies published on Conference Tourism (also known as MICE Tourism) from 2000-19. An advanced database search was carried out using various keywords related to the topic; that gave a sum total of 77 articles for analysis, published over 44 journals. The results obtained show that in the last decade, there has been an escalation of qualitative studies mainly published in various interdisciplinary journals. The conclusions are that research on meetings tourism has been carried out from different approaches and perspectives, affording a multiplicity of varying views on the topic.
