Abstract

Canary Islands are an example of developed region and clerk of the tourism, from the sixty (tourism of sun and beach). From then on until the present time they have happened enough changes. At the moment it is tried to supplement their offer with the rural tourism and the cultural tourism. To outline some reflections about the cultural tourism, especially the difficulties of their management, it is the ob- jective of this article.

Beatriz Martín de la Rosa

Licenciada en Filosofía por la Universidad de La Laguna, desarrolla su tesis doctoral desde la perspectiva de la antropología social sobre la relaciones existentes entre turismo y desarrollo sostenible en la isla de El Hierro (Islas Canarias).
