It is nothing new at the beginning of the 21st century to find works and works that focus on the sea and the uses of the oceans. And that, as a general tone, they begin by denouncing the deteriorating situation of the oceans. It is also common, when we refer to Nature in general and to marine ecosystems in particular, to resort to denouncing a situation of depletion and crisis in order to justify any measure that may be adopted regarding the use of all types of entities and "goods" located outside the urban environment. The protection and conservation of nature are always powerful weapons that can be used to argue about the uses of the oceans. However, we are not going to discuss the health of the latter. Our intention is not to question that we humans face a major challenge in managing the planet and its resources.
