Tourism in Mexico represents a source of considerable income for the population sectors that are immersed in it, therefore, being a direct or indirect participant represents an opportunity in three dimensions: development, economic and social, in that sense, the inclusion of Minority population regions is convenient in areas of their social well-being. The purpose of this research is to identify, through primary sources of information, the participation of the Afro-Veracruz regions in the tourism sector of the state of Veracruz. A descriptive methodology was used through the search for data on official sources of information on state tourism and qualitative data on the interpretation and reflection of the authors. The research was carried out in two main moments; first, a contextualization of the Afro-Veracruz regions, the second identifying state tourism and highlighting the importance through reflection and criticism of the integration in tourism matters of this population sector. The conclusions show that there is no integration of Afro-Veracruz people in official tourism and the need to consider and recognize the inclusion of these populations to contribute to their potential tourist use in the dimensions that see them favored is highlighted.
