Gestión turística y planificación de un sitio del patrimonio mundial de la UNESCO: un estudio en comentarios en línea

Resumen

La web ha promovido cambios en el comportamiento de los turistas en el mundo y las reseñas online aunque son una importante fuente de datos todavía se utilizan de forma incipiente. Este estudio tiene como objetivo detectar las experiencias y percepciones de los turistas y visitantes de las Ruinas de la Misión Jesuita de São Miguel das Missões (RS), a través de los comentarios en TripAdvisor, y analizar la correlación presentada en estos feedbacks entre la evaluación global (Rating) de la atracción y ocho dimensiones (hospitalidad, conservación, seguridad, infraestructura, accesibilidad, aspectos económicos, entretenimiento y sostenibilidad). La investigación cuantitativa con recogida de datos mediante el software WebHeavy mapeó 821 comentarios y 1169 percepciones. La categorización se realizó mediante Microsoft Excel y el análisis de regresión lineal mediante SPSS. Los resultados confirman que las dimensiones accesibilidad, sostenibilidad, conservación y entretenimiento influyen en la valoración global y pueden estimular nuevas estrategias de gestión y promoción del turismo y de la salvaguarda del patrimonio.
