Pressões dos stakeholders e ecoinovação em hotéis no México.

O objetivo desta investigação é analisar o impacto de diferentes tipos de pressões das partes interessadas na implementação de eco-inovações. Utilizando uma metodologia quantitativa, foi aplicado um questionário estruturado a gestores, proprietários ou administradores de 70 hotéis de praia nas baías de Huatulco e Cancún, no México. Com base num modelo de equações estruturais de mínimos quadrados parciais (PLS-SEM), os resultados mostram que a pressão do mercado, os concorrentes e os clientes influenciam a eco-inovação. A contribuição reside no papel da pressão das partes interessadas na eco-inovação, especialmente do ponto de vista dos clientes e dos concorrentes. Em conclusão, a eco-inovação surge como uma resposta do hotel às exigências das partes interessadas e facilita a vantagem competitiva e a melhoria do desempenho. A recomendação é reforçar a combinação de instrumentos de comando e controlo com instrumentos de política fiscal e subsídios, de acordo com as necessidades dos hotéis.
