O modelo Hofstede no estudo do impacto da Sevilla Expo 92

Resumo

Este artigo adota uma abordagem múltipla para o estudo do impacto da Sevilha Expo 92. Começamos por identificar os valores sociais e culturais de 50 profissionais da Sevilha, utilizando o modelo Hofstede, acrescentando algumas questões exploratórias sobre o evento, permitindo compreender o impacto percebido da exposição. Em seguida, analisamos a realidade Expo 92 através do método de caso, usando informações longitudinais. Os resultados demonstram como os valores socioculturais dos habitantes de Sevilha influenciaram a Expo 92 durante a sua realização, mas também após o evento. As conclusões identificam contribuições relevantes para futuros estudos sobre eventos urbanos.
