Resumo

Mesmo que os eventos possam representar importantes motores para o desenvolvimento local, só é possível ter uma contribuição económica e social genuína quando o evento é realizado dentro de um paradigma que enfatiza a importância de interações complexas entre o proponente do evento e seus acionistas. Dentro do setor de eventos, os festivais representam um sub-campo específico que compartilham similaridades de tempo e peculiaridades em comparação com outras tipologias. Este artigo analisa o contexto italiano de festivais de música e aprofunda as relações entre o organizador do festival e atores públicos e privados usando a abordagem de gestão de stakeholders. As conclusões sugerem que os festivais italianos têm um nível razoável de empreendedorismo, uma vez que a análise revela uma boa predisposição para o uso de práticas de gestão.
