Presiones de partes interesadas y eco-innovación en hoteles de México.

El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el impacto de distintos tipos de presiones ejercidas por las partes interesadas en la implementación de eco-innovaciones, mediante una metodología cuantitativa se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado a gerentes, propietarios o administradores de 70 hoteles de playa en Bahías de Huatulco y Cancún, México. A partir de un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales por mínimos cuadrados parciales (PLS-SEM); los resultados muestran que la presión de mercado, competidores y clientes influyen en la eco-innovación. La contribución radica en el papel de la presión de las partes interesadas en la ecoinnovación, especialmente desde el punto de vista de los clientes y los competidores En conclusión, la eco-innovación surge como respuesta del hotel a los requerimientos de las partes interesadas, y facilita la obtención de ventajas competitivas y mejores desempeños. La recomendación es fortalecer una combinación entre los instrumentos de comando y control con los de política fiscal y subsidios de acuerdo con las necesidades de los hoteles.
