El rol del destino turístico en la elección de los estudiantes del centro académico internacional: el caso del programa Erasmus en las Islas Canarias

El estudio mide la importancia de la universidad y de los factores de destino turístico en la elección de las prácticas para sus estudios y su posterior satisfacción. A partir de una muestra del Programa de Intercambio Erasmus en Canarias, uno de los principales destinos turísticos europeos, los resultados muestran el potencial que el turismo académico puede tener para el destino de acogida y, en particular, la importancia de los factores de atracción vinculados al destino y no a los asociados al centro académico. Por lo tanto, para aprovechar este potencial, es esencial desarrollar estrategias de colaboración entre los gestores del destino y los responsables del centro académico analizado.
