Algunas reflexiones sobre la celebración del Año Europeo de Patrimonio Cultural 2018

Resumen

El presente trabajo recoge una crónica de evento con motivo de la celebración del Año Europeo de Patrimonio Cultural este año. En él se abordan cuestiones como las decisones de las instituciones de la Unión Europea para la selección de lugares que representen al continente, así como los distintos eventos que tendrán lugar en los países más pudientes y más implicados en el Patrimonio Cultural. De la misma manera se ofrecen algunos ejemplos de sitios emblemáticos que no han sido considerados en demasía por la UE aun tratándose de espacios con gran significado político y social, y de la escasa presencia de la arqueología en todo el programa.
